ZenEstimate Steel is a single user annual license that runs on the current Core and Complete versions of Bluebeam Revu. Updates are published with each full release of Bluebeam Revu.
ZenEstimate Steel is the leading QTO/Estimating software for the structural world. It incorporates over 2,000 AISC/ASTM symbols with associated weights, surface areas, and size variants that all work inside Bluebeam Revu, using Imperial units. ZenEstimate Steel includes most standard shapes: I-Beams, Channels, Rebar, Sheeting, Structural Railing and many more.
ZenEstimate Steel is available in both Imperial and Metric units, with industry standard sizes of all structural parts for the US, Canada, and around the globe, with built-in weight calculations for either system.
ZenEstimate Steel comes with three (3) separate Custom Column XML files for different types of structural-related work, that all integrate with our standard tools. These custom metadata columns let you do a single takeoff, then easily calculate mass weight, installation, and even paint/insulation/fire protection values. Not only will ZenEstimate Steel give you quantities, but it also lets you enter line-item material/labor/equipment costs, and more, for all your structural components.

With ZenEstimate Steel estimating tools, all you need to do is drop symbols on top of columns, draw a line on top of beams, choose the correct member sizing, and our tools will calculate all the weights for you, in real time! We even allow you to add a “Connection Weight %” if needed. All these values are totaled and can be exported to Microsoft Excel, or a PDF report as required. We’ve even incorporated layering into our tools, so that you can easily isolate specific items on your plans. Since ZenEstimate tools run on top of Bluebeam Revu, you have access to all Revu’s sorting/filtering/ commenting tools to structure your output exactly as you need it.
